Common Questions
Is hospice only for the last few days of life?
No. Hospice is for anyone with a life expectancy of six months or less, as certified by a physician. Starting earlier gives patients and families more time to benefit from comfort and support.
Does choosing hospice mean giving up?
No. Hospice shifts the focus from cure to comfort and quality of life, so your loved one can spend their time as fully and peacefully as possible.
Can we stop hospice if things change?
Yes. Patients can leave hospice at any time and return later if needed.
